Enjoy a chamber concert at the home of Laura Bossert and Terry King (53 South Great Road) on Sunday, May 5 at 5 p.m. overlooking Farrar Pond and Pincushion Island to benefit Farrar Pond. Wine and hors d’oeuvres followed by a chamber music concert featuring Arensky’s Two Cello Quartet and Dvořák’s Piano Quintet in A Major.
Seating is limited and tickets are $75. To purchase, send a check payable to “Massachusetts Audubon Society” (the fiscal agent for the pond) with “Farrar Pond Music Benefit” in the memo line. Principal musicians:
Mariel Bossert, a pianist and founder of Lyrica Chamber Music, has received critical acclaim for her solo and chamber performances with the Emerson, Muir, and Lark String Quartets; violinist Joseph Silverstein; and oboist Joseph Robinson. Ms. Bossert holds degrees from SUNY Potsdam and Manhattan School of Music and a Certificate from the Nouvelle Académie Internationale d’Eté au C.I.F.M., Nice.
Laura Bossert, violinist/violist and a Silver Medalist in the Henryk Szeryng International Violin Competition, has appeared in collaboration with the Muir String Quartet, Elmar Oliveira, Joseph Silverstein, Paul Neubauer, Kim Kashkashian, David Jolley, Joseph Robinson, and with Amelia, Raphael, and Mirecourt Trios. She is on the faculty of Wellesley College, the Longy School of Music, and in the summer, The Quartet Program and LyricaFest.
