Join Boston photographer Eric Roth, well known for his work with interiors, architecture and gardens, for an illustrated talk on capturing the warmth and style of the home environment through the lens. Roth contributed images of the Gropius House to Architecture Boston magazine. His photos appear regularly in national and regional magazines and books about design. His work evokes a lively, human side to modern architecture photography. This program is supported in part by a grant from the Lincoln Cultural Council, a local agency supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.

Eric Roth, a West Newton native and Topsfield resident, has spent more than 30 years inside the area’s most sumptuous homes, photographing the work of local designers and architects for magazines like Elle Décor and Metropolitan Home. His handicraft was the subject of “Personal Space,” an exhibit at the Boston Design Center staged in the 2009 Dream Home space and that featured 62 large-scale reprints of Roth’s favorite images. “Of paramount importance is that the photos should evoke a strong feeling”, says Roth. “I don’t want to just show what a place looks like, but how it really feels to be there.”
